Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
After more than 10 years of firmly keeping my feet on the ground, I’m getting on a plane (yes, an actual plane!) to run the Paris Marathon. Why? Because I’ve spent over 20 years working in homelessness services, dedicating my professional life to reducing homelessness—and this cause means the world to me.
The housing crisis is a national emergency. Right now, millions of people are trying to get by without a safe place to call home. A home isn’t just bricks and mortar; it’s stability, safety, and dignity. That’s why I’m running for Shelter, to support the vital services they provide in the fight against the housing emergency.
The marathon itself is a huge challenge—26.2 miles of sweat, determination, and questionable life choices—but honestly, getting on that plane might be the bigger feat. So, if you can spare a donation, it’ll help make both journeys worth it.
Please spread the word by sharing my page with friends, family, colleagues, and anyone who’ll listen.
Thank you in advance for any kind donations—you’re helping to make a real difference.
