🏊♂️ Taking the Plunge for Whisper Charity 🐍
On 20th September, I’ll be swimming 2 miles in the Serpentine — a huge challenge that I’m both excited and nervous about!
I’m raising money for Whisper, a small but high-impact charity that funds a children’s hospital and maternity unit in Jinja, Uganda. Whisper’s hospital is a happy, caring, child-friendly place that provides life-saving healthcare based on local needs. It has such a strong reputation that families travel long distances just to be treated there.
Last year, I hurled myself out of a plane and raised £6,000 for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. This year, I’m swapping skydiving for swimming — determined to support Whisper’s incredible work for children and families who need it most.
It’s going to be tough, cold, and I’ll probably look more like a splashing Labrador than a sleek dolphin 🐕💦 … but every stroke will be worth it.
👉 Please support me if you can — together we can help Whisper keep changing lives. 🌍✨
