James and Charlie's 1000-mile cycle ride for Palestine

Charlie Lawrie is raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians

Team: James and Charlie's 1000-mile cycle ride for Palestine

1000-mile cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats · 20 June 2026

Medical Aid for Palestinians works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.

Story

Father and son James and Charlie Lawrie are cycling from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland from 20 June to 6 July 2026. It is going to be a tough one! We will be cycling an average of 70 miles/115km every day and with an average ascent of 4,125 ft / 1,257m per day.

We want to raise money for the children of Palestine, who have endured extraordinary hardship over the past 3 years. We have chosen to support Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) (https://www.map.org.uk/), who provide healthcare, emergency response, water and food to Palestinian families and their children.

Thank you for donating to our cause, and for supporting the children of Palestine.
