Story
Hi all
On April 26th, I’ll be taking part in the Glasgow Kilt Walk to raise money for CLAPA, a charity that supports children and families affected by cleft lip and palate.
This charity is incredibly close to my heart, as my daughter Helena was born with a cleft lip and palate. When we were at our most vulnerable, CLAPA was there for us, providing invaluable support and guidance. They gave us special bottles that helped us feed our newborn daughter, making a huge difference in those early years
The care and support we received from CLAPA has had a lasting impact on our family, and it’s because of their kindness and expertise that we’ve been able to navigate this journey with hope. Now, I’m walking to give back and raise awareness for all the incredible kids, like Helena, and the families who are just beginning their own journeys. I want them to know they’re not alone.
I’m raising awareness of the amazing work CLAPA does, not only for our family but for so many others across the UK. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support—it truly means the world to me
Thank you so much
