Myself and my partner Abbie are sleeping out at Trent Bridge to raise money for Trent Bridge Community Trust and The Friary on Friday 14th November!

Each charity provides vital support to local communities within Nottinghamshire, and all funds raised will go towards supporting both charities and the continuation of their individual projects.

Trent Bridge Community Trust delivers projects that have a profound and meaningful impact on communities across Nottinghamshire. Our mission is connect people and their communities within Nottinghamshire through cricket and community projects. By creating opportunities both in cricket and through community based projects supporting wellbeing, the Trust aims to drive positive social change and positively impact the community, groups and participants we engage with.

The Friary Drop-In Centre is a charity in West Bridgford that empowers homeless and vulnerable adults in the local community. They do this by offering practical services, confidential advice and emotional support. They cater for the needs of the most vulnerable in our society and advocate for those without a voice.

By sleeping out for one night, I will be directly impacting those who are most vulnerable in the Rushcliffe community. One night of discomfort for me means more comfort for someone who is sleeping rough every night.
