Story
On Sunday 12th April 2026, I am joining 20 incredible runners to take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon raising funds for Little Roo Neonatal Fund at St Peter's Hospital.
My son Josh was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Peter's Hospital in October 2020 shortly after he was born. Covid measures were in place at the time meaning that visiting times were restricted and we could not always be with Josh. Little Roo funded technology that allowed the staff to send photos and videos which provided such reassurance and peace of mind. Little Roo had also sponsored some of the cutting edge equipment such as state-of-the-art incubators and cerebral function monitors which aided Josh's recovery. The excellent care that Josh received, both during his time on NICU and his follow up afterwards, ensured Josh had the best start to life and has helped him to grow into a thriving 5 year old.
Little Roo continue to provide life-saving equipment, care for families throughout their neonatal journey, and ongoing support for the amazing NICU team. I know that all the funds raised will benefit other families and babies.
Thank you
