For over 90 years, the RAF Association (RAFA) has championed a simple belief – that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need.

RAFA is committed to a simple yet important mission: to support and enable the RAF community to meet the challenges of everyday life.

The RAFA’s role is that of a central, coalescing force; one that brings together individuals and communities to improve the lives of those who serve and have served, their families and loved ones.

Not since WWII has the RAF been so constantly deployed on global operations – and across the generations, the need for support is becoming ever more complex. Demand for RAFA's services is therefore increasing significantly. This is especially significant now as we celebrate 80 years since the end of WWII.

Having spent 18 years in the RAF, the RAF Community will always be very important to me and close to my heart. So, on 7 June, I am cycling 50 miles around RAF Marham raising funds for RAFA in the process.
