🐻 Brave the Bear & I Are Back – Fundraising for Children with Cancer UK 🏃‍♂️🎗️

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my new fundraising page – my previous one is now closed, but the mission continues stronger than ever!

I’ve been proudly fundraising for Children with Cancer UK since 2019, after both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer. That life-changing experience pushed me to take action — not just to raise money, but to do something meaningful for children and families facing the toughest of battles.

Since then, I’ve taken on:

•Half marathons

•Full marathons

•Ultra marathons

•Multi-day stage races

•Obstacle Course Races

•Mountain runs

•24-hour challenges

•The legendary Marathon des Sables — twice

•And even Fire & Ice.

Each race, each mile, each blister has been worth it — all to help raise funds and awareness for children fighting cancer. So far, thanks to all of you, I’ve raised £10,743.80!

🎒 New Challenge: Running with Brave the Bear

This year, I’ve decided to make things a little harder (and a lot more eye-catching). I’m now running as many races as I can carrying a huge stuffed bear on my back — his name is Brave 🐻 and he proudly wears the Children with Cancer UK t-shirt.

Together, Brave and I have already completed:

3 x Half Marathons

2 x Full Marathons

A 70-mile Ultra Marathon

And this weekend, we’re taking on Endure 24 — a 24-hour looped race — with Brave along for the entire journey!

🗓️ September = Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

To mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I’ll be running a marathon or half marathon every week in September — all with Brave the Bear on my back.

Here’s what we’ve got lined up:

These aren’t just races — they’re five more chances to raise awareness, share stories, and keep pushing toward a future where no child has to face cancer.

🎯 Why I’m Doing This

This is about more than races. It’s about showing up again and again for a cause that means the world to me. Children with Cancer UK funds crucial research, treatments, and family support for children fighting cancer. Every step I take is a small way to help make their fight a little easier.

Every donation, no matter the amount, goes directly toward helping children live longer, healthier lives.
