Over the past year, I've had the privilege to sit back and witness the incredible work that my friend Hamish Matthews and his family have done to build & develop a charity in honour of their late mother Sophie, focusing on supporting people with rare cancers.

Hamish has opened my eyes to the incredible lengths that you can push yourself to when you have a cause, and after previously vowing to never run a marathon again ... the chance to support this amazing foundation was too good to pass up.

So I've come out of retirement and will be running the Lake Maggiore Marathon on the 3rd of November 2024, raising money for the Sophie Fitzpatrick Charitable Foundation for Rare Cancers.

I appreciate that everyone is feeling the pinch right now, but I can assure you that every donation big or small is going towards a remarkable charity, ran by some truly inspirational people, who are working tirelessly to make a difference for a cause that desperately needs our support.
