Peak Divide - Ultramarathon · 4 October 2025

Romsey Mill creates opportunities with disadvantaged young people and families in Cambridgeshire. With a long-term relational approach it furthers development through activities shaped with participants. Romsey Mill works with young parents, young families, young people on the autistic spectrum and young people needing focused support to increase confidence and skills.

Story

On the 4th October 2025 I will be running an Ultra Marathon (47 miles) called the Peak Divide which will involve running from Sheffield to Manchester over the Peak District.

Back in June when I signed up it seemed like a good idea! Training has been tough with over 600 miles covered. The total distance on the day will be 47 miles with 1700 metres of climbing - which feels like quite a long way!

To make the pain and effort worth it I would love it if you could sponsor me.

I am raising money for Romsey Mill and Concrete Rose - two organisations that I am closely involved with and love. I have seen first hand the huge difference they make to the lives of young people and care leavers. Any money that you feel able to donate will make a huge difference and really encourage me as I run. Donations will be split equally between Romsey Mill and Concrete Rose (CIC Company Number 13070957).
