Story
I'm running the London Marathon in memory of my cousin, Keita Mullen, who was tragically killed in 2022, leaving behind her three young children. Her loss deeply affected all who knew her, and will have a lifetime impact on her children. While they are surrounded by love, I know many grieving children don’t have that same support.
I’m running to raise funds for Daisy’s Dream, a charity that helps children facing bereavement, so they never have to face their grief alone. This run is a tribute to Keita and a step toward giving hope to other children.
Each year, Daisy’s Dream supports around 500 children and young people as they navigate the challenges of bereavement. Whether they are anticipating the loss of a loved one or coping with a death that has already occurred, the charity’s professionally qualified Therapeutic Practitioners provide vital guidance and support to families.
All services are offered completely free of charge, but to make this possible, Daisy’s Dream must raise over £500,000 annually. Every donation makes a difference—please give what you can.
