U10s 12 mile bike ride for Children's Air Ambulance · 3 September 2023

The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for patients.

Story

In the words of J.

My rugby team and I are raising money for the Children's Air Ambulance because they are my favourite charity and last session we wore Children's Air Ambulance on our rugby shirts. The Children’s Air Ambulance transferred me from Leeds to Plymouth when I was too little to do the journey myself.

As a team we’ll be cycling from Coypool carpark to the Skylark pub and back which is 12 miles.

Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.

We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying, thank you.
