James's fundraiser for Movember

100km in November

Movember has built a global men’s health movement, funding over 1,300 projects, changing the way health services reach and support men. Movember is taking on 3 of the biggest issues facing men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide. Movember is for everyone, not just for men.

Story

Kirkham Grammar School's Team effort to run (or walk) 100km throughout November to raise funds for these two wonderful charities. Please choose which cause you would like to donate to or split your donation between the two;

Breast Cancer Support has been working on collaborative projects around the globe for the early detection of breast cancer. We are helping increase breast cancer awareness through our screening program, especially to those in poverty-stricken countries who do not have access to medical care, due to the lack of facilities and financial means. With the use of the iBreastExam screening device, we aim to help increase breast cancer survival rates through early detection.

Movember. Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.

We are the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. We know what works for men – and what doesn’t. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – we’re taking them all on.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up men’s health research.

Many thanks in advance.
