I’m James, and I’m the Managing Director of Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. When I'm not at work, one of the things I like to do to switch off is run. I started running regularly in 2021 and have since run four ultramarathons. This May I'll be running from the Old Deer Park in Richmond, to Brighton Racecourse - it's about 100km or 62 miles. I am aware every day of things we would like to do at the Trust but struggle to prioritise that would allow us to better support patients, their families and our staff. In particular I feel hugely privileged and proud to be part of the great team we have at the Trust and I know that through the work of the Charity there is much more we can do so that colleagues who show such passion, commitment and care every day at work, have the best possible facilities and support.
