Story

Thanks for visiting my page, I am raising money for The British Heart Foundation.

.Important update, Hi I am now taking part in London to Brighton 61 mile off road challenge on Saturday 23rd September, my initial planned 43 mile Peak District challenge has unfortunately been cancelled by the British Heart Foundation due to low number of entrants, don’t worry though, this page can still be used to sponsor me on my new personal challenge. The new challenge brings an increase in the miles I need to complete and still has over 1200m of climbing, it is also sooner than originally planned so these changes all add to the challenge, by donating you’ve helping me raise awareness on the great work the British Heart Foundation undertake as well as raising money to support their great work.

Those of you that know me well are aware that I had open heart surgery to have a mechanical heart valve fitted some years ago. For those that don’t, the surgery, and ongoing support I underwent and have received since, has literally changed my life. By donating as little or as much to this charity, you will be helping me give something back, British Heart Foundation really is “close to my heart”
