During 2026 I am taking part in THREE Ultra Marathons. I have been on a journey over the last 2 years and during this time I have aligned with the amazing Rainbow Hub based in Mawdesley, Lancashire. This school is a safe place for children with complex needs.

These children are an inspiration and a perfect example of resilience.

No other organisation offers such a diverse range of services aimed at improving the physical, social and emotional well-being of children with complex needs, as well as reducing the stress and isolation in their families. In a complete contrast to NHS services, our charity offers a picturesque country escape with a unique family first approach. Backed by a robust fundraising strategy, strong board of trustees and clear vision to brighten the lives of disabled children.

The three events I am taking part begin this weekend 02/05/2026 with GB Ultras Pennine Barrier, which is a 50 mile, mountain Ultra Marathon set in the beautiful mountains of North Yorkshire. Satring and ending in Malham, It takes in the three peaks of Yorkshire and the bleak terrain of Fountains Fell twice.

On June 13th, I will be taking part in RAT RACE tHE WALL, a 70 mile route following the iconic Hardrians Wall, starting at Carlisle Castle and ending on the amazing Gateshead Millenium bridge on Newcastle Quayside

On October 18th, I will close this off with The Ultra Loop set within Delamere Forest, cheshire. This is an open distance, lap event with an 8 hr limit and the aim of as many laps of a 4.2 mile route as possible in this time!
