Story
On 26 April I'll be taking on the London Marathon, my first ever marathon!
In 2026 I'll hopefully reach the big milestone of five years in remission from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and what better way to celebrate than raising funds for the UK's only charity dedicated to lymphoma.
My world was turned upside down on Christmas Eve 2020 when I received my diagnosis at the age of 25. The information and support I received from Lymphoma Action helped me through a really difficult period of the unknown. I had never heard of lymphoma at the time, and the charity are doing great work to improve awareness, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare of this horrible disease.
The training road ahead is going to be hard, but I'll be running the race for all those who haven't been as lucky as I have to get back to a healthy and happy life after cancer.
