Story
This year I am back at the London Marathon and running in memory of my Nan (Katherine 'Kit' Chasen) who sadly recently passed away at 99 years young. She lived life to the full, survived the blitz, covid and was as tough as they come. It will be strange not having her supporting me this year but I am sure she is watching from above. I know she will be pleased we are supporting the Rennie Grove Hospice who gave our family so much support with her sudden passing.
I will be targeting a sub 3 hour time as Nan knew that was always my target and that wont change. Life has been personally tough in 2026 with a few set backs but through it all I have tried to remain as committed as I can to training. This has seen me running in the snow in Copenhagen, the often wet and windy Dublin, and a bit of heat in Athens. Training has only been made possible by having a very understanding and amazing fiancé.
