In March 2025, our beautiful daughter underwent open-heart surgery to repair her Atrial Septal Defect (a hole between the top two chambers of her heart). Watching her go through such a big operation was one of the toughest things we've ever experienced, but we were fortunate to have the incredible care and support of the team at Evelina Children’s Hospital. Thanks to their expertise, compassion, and dedication, she is now thriving. The doctors, nurses, and support staff made an impossible and frightening situation feel bearable.

As a family, we will forever be grateful for the care they provided and the difference they made in our daughter's life. Witnessing her bravery and strength has inspired me to dust off my running shoes and participate in the amazing London Marathon 2026. In doing so, I aim to raise much-needed funds for Evelina London Children's Charity that did so much for us.

Every mile I run will be for our daughter and all the other incredibly brave children who depend on this hospital, as well as for the amazing team at Evelina.
