May 2022, a life-altering event shook my world. After experiencing my first seizure, I received the devastating news of a terminal diagnosis - a grade 4 astrocytoma on my brain stem. As a new father, the weight of this diagnosis was overwhelming, but with the unwavering support of my loving wife, I embarked on a journey of resilience and hope. Despite being told that chemotherapy and radiotherapy were my only medical options, I refused to accept this as the end of my story. Through the guidance and support of the Ahead Of The Game Foundation, I discovered a new path forward. Embracing alternative therapies, adopting a keto diet, and committing to daily exercise became my pillars of strength. The transformation was profound - shedding over 100lb and reclaiming control over my health. Now, with immense gratitude in my heart, I am preparing to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2025 to raise funds for the foundation that has been a constant to me and my family in my journey.
