James's fundraiser for Dogs for Autism

Paris Marathon 2025 · 13 April 2025 ·
Thank you for coming to my fundraising page! I have decided to attempt the Paris Marathon!
As you know I am hardly built for running let alone a marathon distance, added to the extensive amount of injuries I've suffered over the years: knee ligaments, ankle ligaments and a snapped achilles to name a few, I really am testing myself by taking on this challenge!
Any donations would be extremely appreciated and will keep me going on the wet weather training nights.
Whilst doing the marathon purely on a personal level I wanted to raise money for a charity which is slightly different to my usual fundraising side. I have chosen to raise money for Dogs for Autism. Below is a summary of the fantastic work they do:
We train and provide assistance dogs, at no charge, for autistic people of any age whose lives will be significantly enriched by such a partnership.
Our mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of autistic people and their families, to empower autistic people to realise their individual potential, improve their access to their chosen communities, and to enhance their emotional and physical well-being.
