As you may know, our mother, Erica, suffered from Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) in her last few years. Although it was not her direct cause of death, it certainly contributed very significantly. CES severely limited her mobility to the point where she could barely stand and was unable to walk. She barely left the house for her last two years and needed constant care. CES also meant that she was not deemed fit enough to undergo surgery to treat the Renal Cancer she finally succumbed to.

We are asking for anyone who knew Erica to donate to the Cauda Equina Champions Charity to help sufferers of this little known, yet devastating condition.
