Why this trek you say?

I have a family connection with Birmingham Children’s Hospital. In 1993 my youngest sister was born 9 weeks premature and started life in a neonatal unit. She made it home however 1 week after being discharged she became very ill with what we now know to be pyloric stenosis and was rushed to BCH where the talented surgeons saved her life.
