Story

Hi thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Am doing a mma(mixed martial arts) fight at Ultra mma glasgow on the 22/11/24 to raise money for my chosen charity which is Erb's Palsy group.

All donations that people donate to this here go to erbs palsy group. Ultra mma will announce a total amount raised for charity but each persons chosen charity will get what donations they raised, so please donate anything you can as indi was born with erbs and has dealt with it all from birth so this charity is close too our hearts.

My daughter Indi was born with a condition called erb's palsy. This is a birth injury and due to my partner being type 1 diabetic indi was a big baby and she was stuck. Indi was deprived of oxygen for seven minutes while stuck until with force of many professionals indi got delivered but it came with the most horrible outcome. Indi has right erbs from this (paralisation of right side) and had operations as a baby and a metal plate in her arm, also because of this she has Frenic nerve syndrome, Horners syndrome & bleed in her brain and blind in her right eye. Her nerves were ripped from her spinal cord. This is something we spent and still are living with constant hospital input. This charity is something that's not well known about and indi has sustained one of the worst cases of erbs from birth in the uk. She has never met anyone with same disabilities as most cases are in england. This charity does family fun days etc but are in england and we havent been able to go to any so maybe they will do one in scotland one day if they have enough support as indi would love it. They have social media pages which my partner speaks to them about indi and also shows some of her progress over the years. People can also speak and get support from each other. They also send out news letters etc and have really helped us understand lots through the years.

So thats why a chose to do this charity fight for indi so she can give something back to this charity as not many people know about them or donate to them.
