Climb for Freedom - Kilimanjaro Challenge 2025

James Goddard is raising money for International Justice Mission UK

Climb for Freedom - Kilimanjaro Challenge 2025 · 12 October 2025 to 21 October 2025 ·

A passionate team of IJM champions are undertaking a challenging six-day climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro, via the Rongai route, all to raise vital funds to help stop slavery and violence across the world.

Story

This October, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for International Justice Mission. IJM do amazing work around the world, rescuing vulnerable people from human trafficking and modern day slavery.

There are 50 million people held in slavery today. Over 12 million of those are children. Even in the UK there are over 100,000 people trapped in modern day slavery. The scope and scale of injustice around the world is unthinkable, and that's why IJM's mission is so important.

IJM, and partners, collaborate with local authorities to serve individual survivors of violence, pursue sustainable improvements in the justice system and build communities where all people can expect to be safe and protected. They have brought over 98,000 people to safety, and in regions where they work slavery and violence have decreased up to 86 percent.

I truly believe in this cause, and ask you to give generously in support of the work IJM is doing. Please take the time to read through IJM's website and learn more about their mission. Any donation, big or small, will go a long way. All money you give goes directly to IJM, and could help:

> Bring people to safety

> Support survivors with trauma-informed care

> Hold perpetrators to account

> Strengthen justice systems so that people are protected in the first place

They won't stop until all are free.
