Story

Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

MacMillan have supported my immediate family as well as further family a friends over the years. Amoungst other amazing things they fund The Primrose Unit in Bedford, a charity funded palliative care unit for those battling cancer.

The first weekend of December this year I will be sitting on my mountain bike and cycling from Brighton Pier all the way to Ampthill Fireplaces.

The 200km (approx) route will be largely off-road, wet, muddy and VERY uncomfortable.

Why Brighton?… Before I lost my dad to cancer in 2016 he managed to cycle from London to Brighton off road whilst undergoing chemo therapy. This ride is in memory of his battle and dedicated to anyone else currently suffering from cancer or know someone who is.

It would be great if you could join me for a pint at the finish line December the 4th, or if you’re feeling generous you might even want to donate some of your hard earned cash to an amazing cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
