Story

I am running the 2025 Frankfurt Marathon & the 2026 London Marathon, representing my beautiful sister, Tashi. In 1986, Tashi was born with quadriplegia, cerebral palsy and epilepsy, as a result of a car crash during my mother’s pregnancy. Tashi is the heart and soul of my family and has taught me about communication, patience, love and the value of a contagious smile.

The charity I am raising money for is Scope. Scope help to support disabled people, just like Tashi, and their families up and down the country. There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. That’s one in four of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed and the cost of living is higher by £1,010* each month. It’s wrong and unacceptable for disabled people to be penalised both physically and financially.

Scope’s mission is for disabled people to have the same opportunities as everyone else.

So, I'm fundraising for Scope to create a fairer society.

We want a future that’s fair to disabled people, always. Join me in making this happen.

All funds go directly towards supporting Scope’s vision of a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. The organisation campaigns relentlessly to create a fairer society, while providing practical and emotional advice and support to disabled people and their families when it’s needed most.
