Story
I’m running the 2026 London Marathon for my Dad and everyone affected by MND
My Dad has been living with MND since 2015 and watching someone you love live with the effects of this devastating disease, is something no family should have to face.
To honour my dad and to help others affected by MND, I’m taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in 2026. This is more than just a race — it’s a way to fight back, raise awareness, and support the incredible work being done to improve lives and search for a cure.
All funds raised will go towards:
• Supporting people living with MND and their families
• Funding vital research for better treatments and, one day, a cure
• Helping ensure people like my dad can live with dignity and support
Every donation, no matter the size, means the world — to me, to my dad, and to the thousands of families affected by MND every year.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity 💙
My minimum fundraising amount for the marathon is £2,700 which goes to the MND Association. For anything raised over this amount, 50% will be going to the MND Hertfordshire branch who have supported my dad over the years with monthly meetings with other MND sufferers as well as equipment he’s needed as the disease progresses, with the other 50% going to the MND Association.
