The Stroke Service at Darent Valley Hospital looks after patients who have had a stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) to offer the best possible clinical care for all phases of the stroke pathway. The Stroke Ward offers 24-hour 7-days a week care to provide rapid assessments in the first few hours after stroke to assist early stage treatment of stroke.
I am taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride cycling 54 miles (86.9km), with all proceeds going towards purchasing new and vital equipment needed for our Stroke patients to aid rehabilitation throughout their stay with us on the Stroke unit.
Your support, no matter how big or small, will help enhance the patient care and assist the clinical staff at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust in treating our Stroke patients to deliver the best outcomes.
