In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty 26 mile Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

Currently, around 3 million people in the UK are living with cancer. My mother was diagnosed in 2008 and has now been cancer-free for 16 years. A close colleague of mine was diagnosed last year, and several of my family members have battled or are still fighting the disease. Macmillan aims to support everyone from the moment they are diagnosed, but they rely on donations from people like you to make that possible.
