Hi, I’m James

On the 8th of September 2024 I will be running the Great North Run to raise money for the Barrie Wells Trust. In 2015, aged 10 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, blood cancer. In 2023, after several years of treatment, I had finally been given the all clear and was discharged from hospital. Whilst I was going through treatment and learning to walk again in the early stages, I attended several Box4Kids with Barrie Wells Trust. Attending these events was such a help during these tough years so I have decided to give back to the charity by raising money so this can continue and help many more children.

Box4Kids invites seriously ill and disabled children to enjoy sporting and entertainment events from the comfort of executive boxes. Box4Kids has supported over 20,000 children and their families since it was launched in 2010, and you can now help us to create more lasting memories by donating today.
