HAZEBROUCK TO DUNKIRK · 11 August 2024

We are raising money to provide financial grants to families to support them during treatment, National Trust memberships to help them get out and about, and Hospital Survival Bags for children undergoing long stays in the hospital. Thank you for your generous donation!

Story

I'm walking 58 miles over three days 11-13 August following in the footsteps of the BEF in May 1940 - from Hazebrouck to Bergues, Bergues to Nieuwpoort and from Nieupoort to Dunkirk - doing a small bit to help the incredibly fund-raising that has been going on for Finley's Touch this summer by the supporters of the We Have Ways of Making You Talk podcast, which I co-host with Al Murray.

Finley was Al's nephew and tragically died of cancer aged just 8 years old in December 2021. Finley's Touch is a charity in his memory and helps other families struggling with what Finley's had to go through. So, it really is an excellent cause.
