Hannah and I will be part of a group taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 18th April 2026, raising both funds and awareness for The Rainbow Centre.

The challenge includes:

A 25-mile circular route

Conquering Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough

Over 1,500 metres of total elevation

On top of this I will be doing The Lyke Wake Walk on Monday 22nd June. A 42 mile hike over the moors ending in Ravenscar.

To finish the trilogy of events I will participating in Tough Mudder with my family on July 25th.

The Rainbow Centre has been supporting vulnerable people in Scarborough for almost 27 years, providing vital help to those experiencing homelessness and people in crisis. Their essential services include a foodbank and café, debt advice, hot showers, laundry facilities, and access to clothing, toiletries, bedding, and start-up packs for individuals moving into new homes.

All funds raised from this hike will directly support the delivery of these frontline services and help ensure the Centre can continue its life-changing work. Any donation, no matter the size, is hugely appreciated and will make a real difference.
