For the 4th year running HHVUK will be Relay Walking for 48hrs from England into Wales to raise vital funds as well as awareness of our Country's Homeless Veterans. Al participants will also be sleeping outside in all weathers under minimum cover.

Story

For this charity challenge I am part of a work team which, in relay/shifts will continuously walk back and forth along the Severn Bridge for two days from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th March. Proceeds to Helping Homeless Veterans UK.

Not everyone who serves in the Armed Forces has a smooth life after that service is done. Many struggle to adapt to civilian life - especially if they are carrying intense or traumatic experiences with them. Some have trouble finding or holding onto jobs, and some end up with no place to call home. Homeless Veterans UK started as a Community Interest Company and quickly became a registered charity - albeit still a small one. They help struggling veterans with accommodation, first month's rent, domestic basics from scratch - essentially getting people set back up again after the knockback of homelessness. If you feel able to bung a few quid over for this cause, that would be fab. Many thanks!
