Story

This is my second run in the Cambridge Half - first one completed in 2022 - so by doing this I will complete a full marathon for Wintercomfort!

I am proud to be running for Wintercomfort again with which I use the service's they provide to people who need it. They have helped me to keep in shape for the future. I'm Very grateful for them thank you.

.....

Since 1991, Wintercomfort have been at the forefront of support for homeless and vulnerably housed people in Cambridge.

Sadly, as the cost-of-living crisis continues to affect us all, the number of homeless people in Cambridge is at its highest for many years.

Open every day of the year, we provide hot meals, showers, laundry facilities, clothing and healthcare for rough sleepers. We also provide an extensive range of specialist advice and support to empower people to achieve long-lasting, positive change in their lives. We help people to access housing and employment, offer counselling and therapy, support for people working to overcome addiction, education and training programmes, dedicated support for homeless women and a range of activities aimed at building self-confidence and social inclusion.

Your support will help us to continue our vital work to help to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people within our community.

Thank you so much.
