James's fundraiser for Mind Over Cancer

James Kendall is raising money for Mind Over Cancer

102 mile walk along the Cotswold Way in 6 days · 14 June 2026

Mind Over Cancer is a charity supporting the mental health of patients and families living with a childhood or young adult cancer diagnosis (between the ages of 0-29yrs). We support people during and after treatment. When people need us, we'll be there. We're here when people are ready to talk.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. This summer, starting on 14 June 2026, I will be undertaking a personal challenge: a 102-mile walk along the beautiful Cotswold Way from Chipping Norton to Bath, aiming to complete it in just six days. This journey is not just a test of endurance but a heartfelt mission to support Mind Over Cancer, an incredible charity dedicated to helping young people cope with the mental impact of a cancer diagnosis.

Having recently faced my own cancer diagnosis, I deeply understand the profound physical and emotional challenges that come with it—not only for those diagnosed but also for their families and friends. The psychological effects can emerge at any stage—whether at diagnosis, during treatment, or even months and years afterward—affecting everyone involved in ways that can last a lifetime. Mind Over Cancer plays a vital role in providing much-needed support and funding to aid recovery for both patients and their loved ones.

I invite you to join me on this meaningful walk—whether for a morning, a day, or even the entire 102 miles—to stand together in solidarity. Your support, whether by walking alongside me or through donations, will make an invaluable difference in helping Mind Over Cancer continue their essential work. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
