Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro · 15 November 2024

ZRSDP aims to help schools in rural Zimbabwe. By working with our local contacts in Zimbabwe, we direct our funds where we believe they will have the highest impact, providing materials for communities to build classrooms and furniture. Our hope to improve the learning environment in some of the poorest areas of the country.

Story

Can you support a meaningful cause and make a lasting impact to children in rural Zimbabwe? I am embarking on an expedition to climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. Standing at 5,895 metres, I expect to complete the ascent on 21 November 2024 and raise money for Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme.

Please help sponsor me as:

📚 We're raising funds to provide essential educational resources to Zimbabwe's rural schools.

☀️ Our goal is to raise £8,000 to install solar panels at Mawanke Primary School, ensuring a brighter and sustainable future for young learners.

💪 Your sponsorship will help us scale the heights of change and bring hope to countless lives in the community.

🌍 Your support will have a lasting impact on the educational success of over 100 children a year.

Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme was established and registered as a charity in 2001 (Reg. Charity No. 1085718). Many of the people involved with the charity have spent time teaching in rural Zimbabwe, witnessing at first hand the lack of educational opportunity afforded to so many children.
