Story

I am raising money for CAMHS (the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) at Somerset NHS as they helped my family when we needed it. They are often the unsung heroes of the NHS dealing with incredibly difficult and complicated situations, where the children and the parents/carers are often completely out of options. They are dealing with extremely traumatic and stressful situations on a daily basis and they do it with a calm and professional style that is truly awe-inspiring. When they were supporting my family, they made me sooooo proud to be an NHS colleague and their hard work motivates me every day to achieve more for our NHS here in Somerset.

..... I have just read that the coals I will be walking on can be as hot as 1200 degrees Fahrenheit ...... and that aluminium melts at 1100 degrees ...... I am now wondering if it's too late to change my mind!
