Sadly Dad, James, passed away on the 6th October. He died peacefully in his sleep with the knowledge he had support and kind words from many of his friends and family.

James loved all of his five grandchildren unconditionally and had a special place for Olive who was born with a rare genetic condition meaning she requires extra support to thrive in the world. When Dad was recovering from his initial stroke in Italy he made repeated enquiries to Olive's wellbeing which showed us that he was able to cognitively recover.

Taunton Opportunity Group, TOG, provided Olive access early years education in a safe and trusting environment. The kindness and support that the teachers gave Olive was exceptional and extended beyond the educational setting to give Lucy and I reassurance and support navigating the pathways between hospitals, physio, EHCP's, funding and more.

Without TOG Olive would not have been able to access this essential early years education that's preparing her and us for her journey through school and life. For this we will always be greatfull.

TOG is a registered charity and relies on the goodwill of people to support its work. It's fitting to show support for a charity that has given James and us so much comfort over the last 3 years and we know it's a donation that Dad would have been very proud of.
