Story
James visited the decompression chamber at Plymouth with some of his diving friends and had a wonderful few hours. They were taken down to a virtual 40 meters to experience the sensations that divers might have in the chamber if they were being treated for a diving emergency such as the bends. The work that is carried out here is crucial to help injured divers and also for the treatment and research of other unrelated diseases. We all know how much James loved diving and how he wanted to help others to enjoy it as well. James has tragically died following unforeseen complications after an operation to fix an injury he sustained when running down to one of his favourite dive sites to inspect the sea conditions.
