On Wednesday 15th May the Rathbones incorporating Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) Cheltenham team & I are trekking to the top of Cleeve Hill at 6am to play 54 holes in order to raise money for Winston's Wish.

For those that don't play golf or maybe don't understand the challenge of this, we will be covering roughly 15 miles in around 12-13 hours over hilly terrain whilst carrying our clubs which weigh between 15-20 KG.

Every day across the UK, children and young people lose someone significant to them. The death of someone important can be the most traumatic experience a child or young person will ever face.

Winston’s Wish relies on voluntary charitable donations to support children and their families following the death of a parent, sibling or important person. Since 1992, they have helped tens of thousands of bereaved children and young people and, with your help, can help tens of thousands more during the most difficult time of their lives.

We will be at the beautiful Cleeve Hill Golf club throughout the day so feel free to come along and say hello! Raffles and other fundraising games will be going on at the club house throughout the day.
