Story

This year, I am embarking on a couple of challenges to raise money for Duchenne UK. A charity that has supported my nephew Finn. Finn has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare and incurable muscle wasting disease. Despite the challenges he faces, Finn remains a smiley and resilient little boy, always finding joy even when his body doesn't work quite the same as those around him.

In April, I will be running the Manchester Marathon, pushing myself beyond my comfort zone to make a difference. And in May, I am thrilled to be participating in the Duchenne Dash 2024 - an incredible cycling event that challenges riders to pedal 300km from London to Paris in just 24 hours.

By taking on these challenges, I hope to raise vital funds for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research and accelerate the development of treatments for this devastating disease that affects children.

Together, we can make a real impact and bring hope to children like Finn who deserve a brighter future.
