On Sunday 13 October 2024 (my 70th Birthday) I will be participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the third consecutive year. This will be my fifth Half Marathon since I returned to running in 2020, joining Hawkinge Hurricanes RC.

In 2022 I raised funds for Valley Hospital Charity (Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust) and in 2023 I fundraised for East Kent Hospitals. This year I am seeking to raise sponsorship for Tommy’s, the children’s charity. Tommy’s is the leading charity working to prevent the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and to make pregnancy and birth safe for everyone.

I will be very grateful for any donation, however small, that you feel able to make towards the work of this excellent charity. Your donation will help to fund vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth to enhance the valuable work of saving babies’ lives.
