On Sunday 15th March (Mother's Day), I will be running the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon in memory of my wonderful mother-in-law, who sadly lost her 25 year battle with breast cancer last year.

The Royal Marsden has not only cared for so many people in our community, but is also at the forefront of groundbreaking cancer research that gives families hope for the future; with 1 in 2 people in the UK now developing some form of cancer during their lifetime.

By running this race, I want to honour her memory and help support the vital work that the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity does every day — funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments.
