James's fundraiser for Dentaid

Cycling Lands End to John o'Groats · 23 June 2025
I believe that everyone deserves access to dental care, regardless of their circumstances. The Dentaid charity is dedicated to providing essential dental services and oral health advice to vulnerable adults and children from under-served communities. With their fully equipped mobile dental units, they travel across the UK, bringing outreach clinics to those who struggle or have no access to an NHS dentist.
Their mission doesn't stop at the borders of the UK though. Dentaid also supports dental partners overseas by supplying portable equipment, funding outreach projects, and enhancing oral health programs in communities where dental care is scarce. The need for these services is immense, and every day they see the difference that compassionate care can make in people's lives.
Having volunteered for Dentaid on their mobile unit at Looe in Cornwall I have experienced first hand the great work they do for the underprivileged in the communities they serve.
This year, I am excited to undertake a personal challenge cycling from Lands End to John o'Groats on June 23rd! I am doing this unsupported and plan to cover the 1000 miles over 14 days. My goal is to raise £500 for Dentaid so that they can continue their vital work. I invite you to join me on this journey—your support can help Dentaid reach those who need it most. Together, we can ensure that everyone has a smile they can be proud of!
