Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, GRIT was started by my sister to help ensure teens who felt like she did have the support to help them through the challenges they face.

This year alone, GRIT have had a 20% increase in referrals already, and on average it costs £480 to put a young person through the programme.

GRIT are expecting a £60,000 increase in costs this year with the increased demand for their services, and it’s estimated that 1 in 7 young people struggle with their mental health.

So to that end, I’m going above and beyond what I’ve done before and attempting my first 100 miler. I’ll have 48 hours on July 19th to get from Bamburgh Castle to Edinburgh Castle. It will hurt; but I’ve done a lot of training and I am willing to show the resilience that GRIT is trying to teach.

If you donate £10 or more, please put a song you’d like in your comment with your donation and I’ll add it to my playlist. Also, every cost involved in this - from equipment to hotels to transport - is paid for by me. Everything you donate will go to GRIT. 🤗

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
