At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Softcat is hosting a skydive event to raise funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. This charity is dedicated to supporting children and young people who are battling cancer, providing them with essential services and support during their challenging journey.

I was in the car with my wife last week, after some earth shattering and very unexpected news about my 81 year old dad being diagnosed with terminal cancers literally saying "...I feel the need to do something, to fight this even though I don't have cancer and its not my fight, something for charity..." Queue David Morgan-Frith in a work meeting telling everyone about Softcat's Charity SkyDive for Young Lives vs Cancer!

Now, if the sob story about my old man hasn't tugged on your heart strings .... this is an opportunity to chuck me out of a plane! YES! Me!, the shouty, talkative, annoying Yorkshire-man - you can literally take credit for me falling through the sky!!!

PLEASE GIVE, PLEASE SPONSOR, PLEASE!!! CANCER IS A TERRIBLE, UNFAIR, CALOUS KILLER THAT NO ONE - ESPECIALLY YOUNG PEOPLE - DESERVE!

Our team of brave skydivers will be taking the plunge on Saturday, 5th July in Salisbury and Saturday, 12th July in Lancaster. By participating in this event, we aim to make a significant impact in the lives of young people affected by cancer.

Your generous donations will go directly to Young Lives vs Cancer, helping to provide vital resources and support to those in need. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and bring hope to young lives.

Join us in supporting this worthy cause and cheering on our skydivers as they take on this incredible challenge. Together, we can make a positive impact and show our commitment to helping young people fight cancer.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
