I'm raising money for the Ticker Club who are at Wythenshawe Hospital. This is where I had my double bypass surgery in September 23. I'm now also volunteer with the Ticker club. Members of the Club visit the cardiac wards and support patients who are just about to/just had cardiac surgery. We can empathise with them through personal experience and be someone they can share their worries with. The club also raises money to buy equipment for the cardiac wards, operating theatres and the cardiac rehab centre. This is my first half marathon since March 21 and I want to give back to those that supported me while I was a patient.
