Story
Earlier this year, my 4-year-old son was diagnosed with autism. Like any parent, I want the very best for him, and navigating this journey has opened my eyes to the challenges that autistic children and their families can face every single day. It has also shown me how incredibly important awareness, understanding, and early support truly are.
While communication doesn’t always come easily, his smile, his laughter, and his beautiful presence say more than words ever could. 💙
As a working parent, there are days that feel impossibly full — juggling work responsibilities, nursery runs, appointments, and everything in between.
But in the middle of all that noise, he reminds me to slow down. To notice the joy in simple things. To listen differently. To love more gently.
He teaches me every single day — without saying a word — about resilience, empathy, and what it truly means to connect.
That’s why I’m taking on a major challenge of my own: cycling from London to Paris on 22nd July 2026 to raise funds and shine a light on the amazing work Autism Together do.
For almost 60 years, Autism Together has been dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families. They offer a wide range of personalised services designed to meet each person’s unique needs.
They believe every individual with autism is unique. By working alongside them, they help people navigate the challenges autism can bring—empowering them to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Their support extends far beyond the individual, offering guidance to the whole family—siblings, partners, and even employers and colleagues—helping build a more inclusive and understanding environment for everyone.
I want to help them continue this vital work.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support. 💙🚴♂️✨
