The Swaziland Charitable Trust (the SCT) works for the people of the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), helping to develop a healthy and well-educated community. The SCT most commonly offers grants to schools, community groups and charities in Eswatini. It operates an orphan support scheme and it acts as a conduit for other charities assisting Eswatini.

Story

The Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) is one of the most overlooked countries in Africa and possibly, the world. It has breath-taking mountains (the oldest in the world), stunning flora and fauna, rich culture and the friendliest of people, the Emaswati. These amazing people shaped and enriched my early years in Africa, leaving a life-long bond and affection.

I am involved with several charitable, development and investment projects in Eswatini and this year, I am fundraising to support the critical work of the Swaziland Charitable Trust and I would be so grateful for your support.

The Swaziland Charitable Trust works for the people of the Kingdom of Eswatini, helping to develop and promote healthy and well-educated communities. The Trust’s long experience in the Kingdom and its local Board ensure that assistance is adaptive and responsive to local needs, which has also led to it being used as a local conduit for other charities to maximize impact of generous supporters like you.

The projects we support are closely monitored and seen through to completion. The Trust's projects are focused on schools, community development and healthcare in Eswatini.
